Through these collections, Martha Ccolque explores a creative practice in which fashion becomes a language, a repository of memory, and a vehicle for transformation.

Each garment is conceived as a living work of art, imbued with a story, an emotion, and a unique vision of the world—inviting the wearer to embody its narrative and make it their own.

GRAAL

Grâal

Grâal is a quest.

Inspired by initiatory journeys and the search for what is essential, this collection explores the notion of the inner treasure.

Its lines, materials, and volumes become the symbols of a personal journey, where the garment is no longer merely an object, but a passage between who we are and who we aspire to become.

Each creation evokes the pursuit of an intimate truth—precious, timeless, and deeply personal.

ORION'S LIGHT

Orion’s Light

The Orion’S Light is a collection inspired by the stars, and more particularly by the majestic constellation of Orion, an age-old guide for travelers, sages, and seekers of meaning.

It also draws inspiration from the symbols of the Ancient Near East, the wisdom of great builder civilizations, the mysteries of the star-filled sky, and the light that connects the earth to the spiritual dimensions of existence.

Each garment in the collection bears the name of a star from the constellation of Orion, serving as a landmark on an inner celestial map.

These creations tell the story of a journey—a quest for self-discovery unfolding through the seasons of life.

Beyond aesthetics, Light of the Orion is a meditation on the inner path.

The collection evokes the crossing of the symbolic forest of existence, those sometimes obscure pathways where each individual is called to discover themselves.

It echoes the great initiatory journeys, recalling the voyage described by Dante Alighieri, in which the human spirit advances between shadow and light in search of its own truth.

The silhouettes move through a universe of reflections, mirrors, and water.

Light fragments, multiplies, and transforms itself, revealing different facets of identity.

Like the stars reflected upon the surface of the Lake of Destiny, the garments become witnesses to a dialogue between the visible world and the inner realm.

Orion’s Light is an invitation to raise one’s eyes toward the heavens while continuing one’s own earthly journey; a celebration of beauty, knowledge, and that intimate light that guides each person toward themselves.

A collection created by Martha Ccolque, where raffia, light, and stars become the language of an inner quest.

ANTIDOTE

Antidote

Antidote is a collection born from a desire for reconciliation with oneself.

In response to the standardization of lifestyles, the acceleration of the contemporary world, and the gradual loss of cultural and spiritual landmarks, it proposes clothing as a space for gentle resistance, memory, and reconnection with ancestral cultures.

Each piece is conceived as an antidote to the erasure of identity—an invitation to rediscover one’s uniqueness, origins, presence in the world, and inner confidence.

The creations celebrate the intimate strength of the individual, freedom of expression, and the beauty of authenticity.

Crafted from exceptional raffia, worked with the delicacy and refinement of knitwear, the garments combine lightness, artisanal expertise, and contemporary textile research.

The raffia weavings and braidings, created in collaboration with master artisans from France and Italy, are paired with airy pleated chiffons that accompany the movement of the body.

Deep reds, burgundy tones, garnet hues, and luminous ochres evoke the warmth of the sun, ancestral lands, and the invisible forces that travel through time.

Beyond its aesthetic dimension, Antidote is also a tribute to the intrinsic value of traditional knowledge and the richness of African cultural heritage.

The collection draws inspiration from the ancestral wisdom preserved and transmitted within the Bamileke kingdoms, where the art of Ndop weaving, symbols, narratives, and ceremonial objects contribute to the preservation of a deeply rooted collective memory.

These forms of knowledge are not merely techniques; they are living archives, carrying a vision of the world and an understanding of the relationships between human beings, community, nature, and the sacred.

Through this collection, Martha Ccolque pays homage to these precious legacies and highlights the importance of transmitting them to future generations.

Antidote thus becomes both an act of preservation and a contemporary creation: a celebration of memory, transmission, and cultural continuity. Each garment bears the imprint of ancient knowledge reinterpreted for our time, creating a bridge between past and future.

In a world of constant transformation, the collection affirms that certain forms of wisdom remain essential. They serve as a remedy against forgetting, a refuge from standardization, and a source of inspiration for building the future without severing the dialogue with our roots.

Antidote is an ode to transmission, the preservation of intangible heritage, and the sovereignty of cultural identity—a collection in which clothing becomes memory, protection, and a living legacy.
