A BRIDGE BETWEEN THE THREE WORLDS
For the 10th anniversary of the MARTHA CCOLQUE fashion house, designer Martha Ccolque created the project: “Art, Culture, Fashion and Design,” with the aim of implementing a multi-sector cultural program. This involves four fundamental elements: Time, Space, Body, and Consciousness. The artist, the craftsman, and the worker are the mediums of the relationship between the invisible and the visible worlds, through Creation.
The Specieux projects carried out by the Martha Ccolque fashion house create links between the reappropriation of ancestral identities and the innovation of tomorrow. In this way, they weave a cultural ecosystem that provides a vision of their future.
With this opening, Martha Ccolque founded the epononime publishing house. The first works will be the creation of a collection of ten new books: “Spotlight on Gabon,” which sheds light on Gabon’s culture.
The project will thus involve a genuine forging of ties with creators from other fields—artisans, accessories makers, weavers, designers, potters, jewelers, and more. Martha Ccolque is thus inventing the creation of the first Design and Regeneration Hub in Central Africa.
This project will explore fashion and its new evolutions in costumes and lifestyle through the prism of social, economic, and geographical sciences, as well as aesthetics and technology.
These will be essential events created by Maison Martha Ccolque for an audience interested in expanding their perspective on the real vision of truths transmitted by different peoples and societies.
The objective: transmission and preservation of know-how, design innovation while respecting ancestral archetypes for the creation of values.
Because art and fashion sometimes seem to be separate worlds, but in truth they are very intertwined.
